Best of New Orleans, USA
NEW ORLEANS TOUR HIGHLIGHTS
Join us for 6 days of non-stop fun in vibrant New Orleans, the birthplace of jazz. Discover the city’s spiritual core as you wander through the beautiful French Quarter, where New Orleans first began back in 1718. Visit the Whitney and Laura Plantations and take an eye-opening look into America’s past. The Whitney Plantation is the only plantation museum in Louisiana with a focus on slavery, and at the Laura Plantation, you will learn of real-life accounts by the slaves, owners, women and children who lived and died there. And of course, no trip to New Orleans would be complete without listening to some jazz. Whilst you really are spoilt for choice for places to enjoy this music, we think listening as you cruise down the Mississippi River in the evening might just clinch it.

It’s also advised to take a light rain jacket as, even in the summer months, you can experience downpours. In the winter months, the daytime temperatures vary, and whilst the weather remains fairly warm during the day, it will get cold at night, so check the weather forecast before you travel and pack accordingly.
