Join other Solo Travellers on this 9-day tour travelling from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and everywhere in between. Explore the vibrant modern city of Tel Aviv, renowned for its exciting art galleries, chic cafes and beautiful beaches, the nearby areas of Tagbah, Haifa and Nazareth, and take a trip to the Sea of Galilee for a boat ride on Israel’s largest fresh water lake. Travel to Jerusalem, an Old City full of attractions, visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus, Jericho, a 10,000-year-old city still inhabited today, and float to your heart’s content in the world’s saltiest body of water on your visit to the Dead Sea. Day 1 – Arrive Tel Aviv
Arrive and transfer to Nazareth to check-in to the hotel. Dinner will be arranged for your first night.
Day 2 – Nazareth / Cana / Mt. Tabor
After breakfast at the hotel, you will start the day with a visit to the Annunciation Church in Nazareth. From here, you will visit the St. Joseph the Carpenter Church and Mary’s Well and Springs, before travelling to Cana, to see the Church of Cana, where Jesus performed his first miracle; the transformation of water into wine. You will then proceed on to Mt. Tabor, the site of the transfiguration of Jesus. In the evening we’ll head out for dinner.
Day 3 – Mt. of Beatitudes / Sea of Galilee / Capernaum
After breakfast, you will proceed to Mt. of Beatitudes, where Jesus delivered the sermon on the mount. Next you will travel to the Tabgah region, to visit the Church of the Multiplication of Fish & Loaves, and then onto St. Peters Primacy, before enjoying a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee. From here, you will continue on to Capernaum, where Jesus lived and healed the sick by preaching in the synagogue and performing miracles. You will also visit the House of Peter.
Day 4 – Haifa / Caesarea / Tel Aviv Jaffa / Tel Aviv
After breakfast, begin the journey to the beautiful city of Haifa to ascend Mt. Carmel to enjoy panoramic views over the bay. From here, you will visit Stella Maris and the Cave of Alia, as well as the Muhraka Monastery and the Hanging Gardens of the Bahai Shrine. Next, travel to Caesarea to visit the water aqueduct, the Roman theatre, the hippodrome and the crusaders fortress before heading to Tel Aviv Jaffa, an ancient port in the oldest part of Tel Aviv. Overnight in Tel Aviv.
Day 5 – Tel Aviv
Free day in Tel Aviv.
Day 6 – Mt. of Olives / Mt. Zion / Ein Karem / Bethlehem
After breakfast, proceed to the Mt. of Olives and visit the Church of Ascention, the Peter Noster Church, and the Dominos Flevit Church, where Jesus wept over Jerusalem. Continue to the Garden of Gethsemane and onto Mt. Zion to visit the Church of St. Peter in Gallicantu, King David’s Tomb, and the Dormition Abbey. Travel to Ein Karem to visit St. John the Baptist Church and the Church of Visitation, before heading to Bethlehem to visit the Nativity Church; the birthplace of Jesus Christ. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7 – Jerusalem
Today you will be exploring the Old City of Jerusalem. Starting at the Dung Gate, you will then visit the Wailing Wall, the Area of the Mosque built on Mt. Moriah, and then walk the ‘Way of the Cross’, the route which many believe Jesus walked on the way to his crucifixion. You will also visit the Holy Sepulcher Church and the Empty Tomb of Jesus Christ. Dinner and overnight.
Day 8 – Bethany / Jericho / The Dead Sea
After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Bethany to visit the House of Mary & Martha, and the Tomb of Lazarus. You will then travel to Jericho, the oldest town in the Holy Land, to visit the Sycamore Tree; the tree that Zacharious the tax collector climbed to view Jesus. Whilst here, you will also visit the Mt. of Temptation before continuing your journey to the Dead Sea, the lowest spot on earth at 400m below sea level, to swim in the minerally rich waters. Dinner will be arranged for your last night in Israel.
Day 9 – Depart Tel Aviv
After breakfast, you will be transferred back to Tel Aviv to Ben Gurion Airport for international flights home.

Hosts One of our local guides will be your main point of contact on this trip. They will meet you at the airport and stay with you throughout the tour. Our guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable – if you need anything, just let them know!
Clothing The weather will be warm in the day and chilly at night, so take layers. You will also need comfortable shoes. We recommend taking a light rain jacket – just in case.
Health Always seek medical advice from your doctor or travel nurse a minimum of 8 weeks before you travel and make sure your vaccinations are up to date. Remember that your travel insurance may not cover you if you do not have up-to-date vaccinations.
