Kick start this amazing 10 night experience in Shanghai, China’s largest city, where you will admire the spectacular views from The Bund and enjoy the peaceful Yuyaun Garden. Spend 2 nights in Xian exploring the City Walls and the Wild Goose Pagoda, as well as a visit to the Museum of Qin Terracotta Warriors, the most popular attraction of Xian. Your final stop on this China tour is Beijing, the capital. Here you will visit the Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace. Sports and architecture fans can marvel at the Bird’s Nest, while animal lovers can visit the Panda Zoo. And of course, no trip to China would be complete without a day at The Great Wall.

Day 1 – Arrive Shanghai
Day 2 – Shanghai
After breakfast you will begin your China tour with a day of sightseeing in Shanghai. During the morning part of your tour, you will visit The Bund, Shanghai’s most famous waterfront destination, Nanjing Road, China’s premier shopping street, and the Jade Buddha Temple, built between 1918 and 1928 and home to a beautiful Buddha carved from pure jade. In the evening, you will visit the Old Town, the classical Yuyuan Garden and have the option of watching an Acrobatic Show.
Day 3 – Shanghai / Suzhou / Shanghai
After breakfast, take the train to Suzhou for a day trip to visit the beautiful Humble Administrator’s Garden and the Garden of the Master of the Nets. You will also visit a Silk Factory and take a relaxing stroll to see the local canals which this area is famous for. In the afternoon you will take the train back to Shanghai.
Day 4 – Shanghai / Xian
Today you will be transferred to Shanghai Airport for a domestic flight to Xian where you will spend the night.
Day 5 – Xian
After breakfast, visit the UNESCO world heritage site of the Terracotta Warriors Museum to see the thousands of terracotta army sculptures, created to protect the First Emperor of China in his afterlife. You will also visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda and Provincial History Museum, which displays Chinese fossils, murals and pottery. In the evening, you will have the option to go to a Tang Dynasty Show.
Day 6 – Xian / Beijing
Today you will be transferred to Xian Airport for a domestic fight to Beijing where you will spend the night.
Day 7 – Beijing
Today you will be exploring Beijing. You will visit Tiananmen Square, a site of great cultural significance to China and home of the Chairman Mao Memorial Hall. Next, you will enter the Forbidden City, home to many Chinese emperors dating back almost 500 years. The last stop on today’s tour will be at the Temple of Heaven.
Day 8 – Beijing / The Great Wall / Beijing
After breakfast, you will spend the whole day exploring one of the 7 wonders of the world, The Great Wall of China. In the evening, you will have the option to go to a Peking Opera Show.
Day 9 – Beijing
Today is another day of sightseeing in Beijing. Begin at the Summer Palace, a large ensemble of lakes, gardens and palaces, before admiring the architectural brilliance at the Bird’s Nest zone. You will also make a stop at the Beijing Zoo to admire the Giant Pandas. To finish off the day, you will experience life in one of Beijing’s traditional old quarters, Liulichang Street.
Day 10 – Beijing
The last full day of this China tour will be at your leisure.
Day 11 – Depart Beijing
